A love of color imagery, a passion for the exploration
of emerging nations, contemporary issues and an appreciation
of the lyrical beauty of everyday life – what better an
occupation than photographer/writer. Sally
Ruscitti's work is a celebration of more than an image;
it is an unposed view of the patterns and detail of the area
in which she finds herself. Capturing the essence of the moment
and place is paramount. While working primarily in digital imagery
now, she has full 35mm capabilities. Photo library includes
a 25 year span of global imagery giving archival and relative
perspective to many areas. Credits include magazine (Archaeology,
Conde Naste, House Beautiful, National Geographic, Travel &
Leisure, etc); major print organizations such as New York Times;
book publishers including Lonely Planet, UNM Press, textbooks;
advertising agencies; TV; note cards, restaurant décor
(Pei Wei Asian Diner) and probono work for nonprofit causes.
